From October 17th until October 26th the Illustrative – Europa’s largest Forum for Illustration and Graphic Art will open its doors in Zurich, Messehalle 9.

The Illustrative Festival, which started in Berlin in 2006, appears this year with an extraordinary programm:

The main exhibition will show 36 artists with a great variation of artworks. Each one will show their art in a self created booth. The Young Illustrators Award 2008 had its deadline by the end of August and the selected artworks of the award winners of three categories: Illustration, Book Art and Animation will be shown in a seperate area at illustrative. The presentation of the prices will be on October 18th.

For the first time this year, international creative companies have created an own booth area!

CABARET worked on the PR for the T&A booth and proudly presents 20 upcoming illustrators from Japan!

The Illustrative will also show a program of lectures, life painting sessions, workshops and of course parties.

IF you have the chance to make it down to Zurich, don’t forget your pencils: ID Pure Magazine is holding a Cover Art Award during the whole festival period!!
