Mumbleboy at HaNNa Gallery Tokyo
09.01.06

Kinya Hanada a.k.a. Mumbleboy is a Japanese artist, who is known for his Flash animations and handmade plush dolls.
He is based in Portland, but came over to Tokyo to set up his exhibition at HaNNa Gallery’s Wall Space at La Foret Harajuku, called Heroes of the Forest. HaNNa Gallery is a tiny space of only 5×5 feet (1.5 qm), but it is perfect to realise Mumbleboy’s idea of creating a diorama like scene. He did collage prints and covered the entire back walls, then set up paper mache figures in the front.
The exhibition is running thru Jan 18th, please also have a look at Mumbleboy’s colourful site!
